We are teaming up with Steve Biko Housing Association to offer you empowering employability sessions, thanks to funding from the European Union’s Social Fund.
Free sessions across five weeks will help you to:
● boost your skills and confidence
● build and improve your CV
● gain experience through volunteering and work placements
● access one-to-one employment advice
A light lunch with refreshments will be provided, and help is available for childcare and travel expenses.
The New Horizons project has been designed for the local BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) community.
You must be legally able to reside in the UK and be unemployed to be eligible. You must also provide an ID, along with proof of address and any benefits that you receive.
For Liverpool residents, sessions will take place from 10am to 2pm at the Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre (4 Princes Road, Liverpool L8 1TH) on the following dates: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th March and 5th April.
For residents of Wirral, sessions will take place from 10am to 2pm at Wirral Multicultural Centre (111 Conway Street, Wirral CH41 4AF) on the following dates: 2nd, 9th, 16th and 30th March and 6th April.
