We will be closed for the upcoming Easter bank holidays on Friday, April 18th and Monday, April 21st. We will reopen on Tuesday, 22nd.
How will this affect you?
During these bank holiday dates, our phone lines will be operating on an emergencies-only basis. This means that our multilingual team will be available to respond to situations posing an immediate risk to your health, safety, or security, or those causing significant damage to your home.
However, we want to remind you that you can still report non-emergency repairs conveniently through our Customer Portal and Email at any time.
What classes as emergency?
An emergency is defined as a situation that presents an immediate health, safety, or security risk to you or others, or is causing substantial damage to your property.
Examples of emergencies include:
- Exposed electrical wires or water coming into contact with electrical sockets or wiring.

- Severe roof leak
- Total loss of water supply
- Loose or falling brickwork/concrete likely to cause injury or damage
- Boarding up a broken door or window
- An uncontrollable water leak.
- A complete loss of power to your property.
- You are at risk of harm, or are witnessing a crime
If you experience an emergency, you must report it immediately.
How to report an emergency:
- For hate crime, call 999 (emergencies only) or 101 (non-emergencies).
- For emergency repairs, please call us directly on 0151 709 6878.
- If you suspect a gas leak, please call 0800 111 999 immediately.
- If you see or smell smoke, call 999 or 112 immediately.
- In the event of a power cut in your area, please call 105.
Please do not attempt to report an emergency via our Customer Portal or Email, as these channels may not be monitored frequently enough during the bank holidays to ensure a timely response.
