Spreading Christmas Cheer with The Florrie

December 23, 2024

Pine Court Housing Association (PCHA) has once again teamed up with The Florrie this Christmas, a partnership that shines brighter this Christmas.

For over 130 years, The Florrie has been the heart of Liverpool’s L8 community. This vibrant hub isn’t just about art and heritage; it’s a lifeline for many, offering social support, cultural enrichment, and essential services. Their Food Support Programme has become a beacon of hope for families struggling with food poverty.

This Christmas, PCHA proudly supported The Florrie’s efforts, ensuring their Christmas hampers overflowed with cheer.

Through financial donations from PCHA; groceries, toiletries, baby essentials, warm clothing, and festive treats where supplied for those who need it most.

David Draper, Neighbourhood Officer at PCHA, shared his enthusiasm,

“The Florrie is more than just a building; it’s a symbol of community spirit. We’re honoured to support an organisation that’s so deeply rooted in the lives of our customers. This partnership isn’t just about giving; it’s about building a stronger, more compassionate community together.”

The PCHA team rolled up their sleeves and joined the festive fun, lending a hand to pack the hampers, ensuring every family received a little extra magic this Christmas. This collaboration is a testament to the power of partnership and a shared commitment to creating a better future.
